Onceover — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Onceover ("the app") is published by CRESCADE LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with information. Its short version: your reports stay on your iPhone.

What stays on your device

Everything you create stays in the app's private storage on your iPhone. We have no server copy of it and cannot see it. This includes:

  • projects, report titles, dates, addresses and notes;
  • photos you take or import, and the original files;
  • captions, annotations, sections and checklists;
  • exported PDFs and backup files;
  • your company name, contact details and logo.

The app has no account and no sign-in. It does not use your location and does not track you across apps or websites.

When information leaves your device

Information leaves your device in these cases:

  • Sharing a PDF or a backup file. When you tap Share, iOS shows the share sheet, and you choose where the file goes (Mail, Files, AirDrop and so on). That destination's own privacy terms then apply. The app never sends your files automatically.
  • Anonymous usage statistics (on by default). "Share Anonymous Usage Stats" is on by default. The app sends simple usage events, such as "a PDF was exported" or "photos were added", to our analytics provider, PostHog (servers in the USA). Events carry a random device identifier, the app version, rough counts such as "6–20 photos", and diagnostics and crash information. This information is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking across apps or for advertising. They never include report content, names, addresses, photos, captions or locations. You can turn this off at any time in Settings; the app then stops sending events and resets the random identifier. In the EU, the EEA and the UK, the app asks for your consent on first launch and sends no usage statistics unless you agree.
  • Purchases. If in-app purchases are available, they are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether you own Pro. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and your App Store purchase information. It does not receive your reports.

Permissions

  • Camera — only when you choose to take a photo for a report.
  • Photos — the system photo picker shows only the photos you select. The app does not get access to your whole library.
  • Notifications — only if you set a visit reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone.

You can change these permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

Your control over your data

  • Delete a report, or all reports, in the app (Settings → Delete All Reports).
  • Create a backup file at any time (Settings → Create Backup File). It contains all your reports and photos. Store it safely: the file is not encrypted.
  • Deleting the app removes all its data from your iPhone. Backups and PDFs you saved elsewhere are not affected.

Children

The app is a work tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
