BatchBake — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-31
Publisher: CRESCADE LLC · Contact: hello@crescade.com

BatchBake helps home and small bakeries take pre-orders, plan bake days and keep track of payments. This policy explains what happens to information in the app.

Information you enter stays on your iPhone

Your bakery details, products and prices, pickup times, customer names and contact details you type in, orders, invoices, payments you record, recipes, stock and bake-day records are stored only on your device. We do not have a server copy of them, and we cannot see them.

You decide when to share something: invoices (PDF), buy lists, pickup messages and backup files leave the app only when you choose to share or export them, to the destination you pick. Backup files are not encrypted; keep them somewhere private.

If you enter information about your customers (such as a name, phone number or email), you are responsible for having their permission to keep it and for using it only for their orders.

Anonymous usage statistics

"Share anonymous usage stats" is on by default. The app sends counts of actions — for example "an order was accepted" or "a backup was exported" — together with the app version, a device identifier, and diagnostics and crash information, to our analytics provider PostHog (servers in the USA). These events never include your bakery's content: no names, contacts, amounts, notes, recipes or order details. They are not linked to your identity and are not used for advertising or tracking across apps. You can turn this off at any time in Settings; turning it off stops sending and resets the anonymous identifier. In the EU, the EEA and the UK, the app asks for your consent on first launch and sends no usage statistics unless you agree.

Purchases

If the app offers a subscription, purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is active, using an anonymous app identifier. We do not receive your payment details.

BatchBake does not process payments between you and your customers. Payments you record in the app are your own notes.

Notifications

If you start an oven or stage timer, the app may ask for permission to show a local reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to us.

What we don't do

  • No advertising, no ad tracking, no sale of data.
  • No account is required.
  • No location, contacts, photos or microphone access.

Deleting your data

Use Settings › Delete all data on this iPhone, or delete the app. Because we don't hold your bakery data, there is nothing for us to delete on a server. To ask about analytics data, email hello@crescade.com.

Children

BatchBake is a business tool and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, note it in the app's release notes.
